I had three major takeaways from this game, in descending order:
1 — Nobody is stopping this Ravens offense until the AFC Championship Game
Baltimore has scored, since Week 2: 28, 35, 41, 30, and 41 points. The 28 comes with an asterisk that they built a huge lead and, in Lamar Jackson’s own paraphrased words, let off the pedal against a rough Cowboys squad. They also missed a field goal in that one.
It’s not just that Lamar Jackson is playing MVP-caliber ball (though he is), and it’s not just that Derrick Henry is nigh-unstoppable next to Jackson (though he is), it’s that they’ve built a skill position depth chart that is so good it is annoying in fantasy football. Some days we’ll have Rashod Bateman toasting fools, some days Zay Flowers has 12 targets. Some days Isaiah Likely is a hero, and some days Mark Andrews catches two barely contested touchdowns. This was a Bateman and Andrews day, and Bateman had not one but two absolute bomb catches over Zyon McCollum:
