Staked to a 10-0 deficit in a road game you really need to win to stay in the AFC North picture? Sounds like a great time to remember that you a) have Derrick Henry and b) to go full Season 1 Brendan Staley on the Chargers.
Sparked by a fourth-down go on their own 16, the Ravens took a halftime lead over the Chargers. Then they kept going for it on fourth down — finishing the game 3-for-3 — and kept scoring. They scored on every remaining possession of the game until there were three minutes left, and the Chargers simply aren’t built to keep pace with that. They tried and it led to a trail of Quentin Johnston drops, Josh Palmer incompletions, and Justin Herbert pressures. (And, when trying to catch up, Josh Palmer DPI penalties.)
